From Rich To Richer

While a lot may have changed for Russell, his bank balance happens to be one of those. He scored his first-ever paycheck of $120.000 at the young age of 16. At that time, he had also won the McLaren Autosport BRCD Award. However, this first paycheck for Russell has been a significant part of his life. In an interview with Sky Sports, he said that it was all because of his first paycheck; it aided him in the process of continuing his passion and helped him sustain until his deal with Mercedes was finalized. He also stated that he wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for that particular paycheck.
