Kaley Cuoco’s Impressive Mediterranean-Style Villa Is Up Grabs — Here’s a Sneak Peek Inside Her Former Home

This year is bound to be a roller coaster ride for The Big Bang Theory star, Kaley Cuoco. As the hit show approaches its end, the 33-year-old actress is getting ready to start a new chapter in her life.

Big Changes

A look inside the six-bedroom home where Cuoco has been living in since 2014.

Just a week before The Big Bang Theory’s final episode airing, Cuoco decided to let go of her Tarzana home and sell for $6.9 million. The actress is reportedly planning to move into a new home with her equestrian husband Karl Cook, so keeping the Mediterranean-style home is out of the question.

What more, the couple has recently expressed their desire to start having kids. And knowing Cuoco and Cook’s love for a simple life at the ranch, sources are saying that they’re looking for a property that could accommodate this lifestyle.

It can be remembered that the actress bought the villa from reality star Khloe Kardashian some years ago after immediately falling in love with it. She then hired in-demand designer Jeff Andrews to help her decorate the space into its current dreamy interior style. Andrews was also the one who decorated the villa when it was still owned by Kardashian.

Designing the Home

Cuoco initially bought the place for $ 5.49 million

While Cuoco loved almost everything about the house when she first bought it, she still wanted to add some personal touches to her then-home. With the help of Andrews, she successfully incorporated equestrian-related objects and decor to the place given her love for horses and riding.

In fact, one of these additions happens to be an Hermès wallpaper with horse-inspired design on it. According to Cuoco, seeing the ‘horse touches’ around the space make the villa feel more like home.

In the end, her decoration project was featured in Andrews’ book, ‘The New Glamour’, which also shows other interior design projects from the designer’s elite client base.

Aside from these touches, the 8,000 square foot home has plenty of fantastic amenities to offer. It’s got a huge chef’s kitchen which would surely impress the most meticulous of cooks and a total of three walk-in closets in three of its six bedrooms.

The backyard doesn’t disappoint either. In theme with its Mediterranean style, the area surrounding the house looks straight out of a high-end resort featuring an outdoor kitchen, a pool, a spa, and even a dining area.

Ranch Life

Aside from finally starting a family, Cuoco has also expressed her desire to spend more time pursuing her first love: horseback riding. This is an interest that the couple share with Cook being a pro at the sport.

In fact, his family owns Pomponio Ranch in Santa Fe, California, where he trains for competitions with Eric Navet, who’s a former Olympian. This is also where the couple keeps their ever-growing stable of competition and dwarf horses which Cuoco often features on her Instagram posts.
