Finding a home often starts with a simple Google search. To make that process more informative, Google has expanded its enhanced Local Services Ads (LSAs) for Home Listings nationwide.
The updated format is now available in all 50 U.S. states, giving homebuyers access to more property details directly within search results while helping real estate agents connect with potential buyers earlier in the decision-making process.
What Has Changed?
The latest Local Services Ads experience now displays detailed home listing information directly inside the ad. Instead of viewing only basic business details, users can now see important property information before clicking further.
The updated ads may include home pricing, property photos, and key features of the listing. As a result, buyers can review relevant details while remaining on Google Search, making the browsing experience quicker and more convenient.

Google is powering this feature through its partnership with HouseCanary. The company’s property data platform provides the listing information that appears within these ads, ensuring buyers receive relevant and up-to-date property details.
How the New Experience Works
When users search for homes on Google, they can interact with agents directly from the ad. The platform allows buyers to call, send messages, or schedule appointments without leaving the search page.
Google designed the feature to reach buyers at an earlier stage of the home-search process, when they are actively exploring available properties and local market options.
Existing Local Services Ads advertisers will automatically gain access to the enhanced listing experience. Real estate professionals who are not currently using LSAs can sign up to receive leads, while portal partners can enroll agents through Google’s managed partner program.
With richer property information built into Local Services Ads, Google is making Search a more useful starting point for homebuyers. At the same time, the update creates new opportunities for real estate agents to connect with highly interested buyers through direct and streamlined communication.
