Going on an international trip is always an adventure, as you get to explore new countries and their unique culture and traditions. But, if you make a trip to a country that is not considered the safest in the world, especially with respect to its crime rate, then there is certainly some level of risk that you sign up to bear on your travels. Unfortunately, supermodel Gigi Hadid had to learn this fact the hard way.
According to reports, the supermodel went on a trip to the gorgeous Island of Mykonos, Greece, with her sisters, including Bella Hadid, who is also a supermodel. From the looks of it, all of them seem to have had a wonderful time there, going around famous places and sharing scenic photographs on social media. But, while their trip looks rosy and perfect, Gigi has explicitly stated that she would not be returning to Mykonos ever again. But why?
A Horrible Incident
Apparently, at least according to reports, as the girls were going around the city of Mykonos, the place which they had rented out as their temporary accommodation for the vacation was broken into, and reportedly only things that had belonged to either Gigi or Bella were stolen. Thankfully, as nobody was home, there was no physical harm done to anyone as a result of this incident.
But Gigi is now making sure that at least her followers do not make the mistake of going to Mykonos as she did. According to her, even though all of her pictures on Instagram make it look like she had a great trip, in reality, she did not.
Gig posted a picture with a caption that revealed to all of her followers that she had gotten robbed, and then she clearly stated that she would not be returning to this city anytime soon. She even went so far as to say that Mykonos would not be recommended as a vacation destination by her to anyone she knows, before telling people any place other than Mykonos to spend money.
Relationship With Tyler Cameron?
There have been rumors circulating on tabloids across the internet claiming that Gigi is currently in a relationship with Tyler Cameron, who was formerly a contestant on the popular TV show called Bachelorette.
However, these rumors have also been shot down after the robbery news was communicated to the media, with Gigi’s father Mohamed Hadid denying to even know who Cameron was before the media had asked him whether his daughter was in a relationship with him.
It is uncertain whether Cameron and Gigi are romantically involved with each other, more so because Cameron had been spotted with Hannah Brown, another Bachelorette show member, as the two had reportedly spent a night together.
Brown had been engaged to Jed Wyatt but called off the relationship, so she is also available and a potential candidate for being Cameron’s significant other. However, Cameron and Gigi have reportedly gone on around two dates after the former’s alleged stayover with Brown, so there may be something there. Only time will clarify everything!
