From portraying the demure Bella in the Twilight series to playing the bold Abby in Happiest Season, Kristen Stewart’s journey has been like a roller coaster ride, both on and off-screen.
Stewart started her career with The Thirteenth Year and rose to fame with the fantasy film, Twilight. Since, then she’s been making headlines for her movie selection, relationships, and, most importantly, her preferences in relationships.
However, this time Stewart is all over the news for a different reason. The beautiful actress has purchased a lavish property in Los Feliz for $6 million. Let’s juice in on the details.
The Mediterranean Revival-style mansion that Kristen recently added to her kitty dates back to 1927 and has a history of celebrity owners, including renowned actor Anthony Edwards. Anthony purchased it in 1998 and sold it off in 2004, but there’s no update on whether he made any renovations there or not.
The property was listed by Sotheby’s International Realty broker, Richard Yohonm, in collaboration with Nourmand and Associates broker, Konstantine Valissarakos, before landing up at Kristen Stewart’s real estate portfolio.
A peek inside the beauty of the house
The estate spreads over 4,864 sq. ft. and comprises of four bedrooms and five-and-a-half-bathrooms. It used to have a two-car garage at one time, but that’s been converted to a detached guesthouse now.
The main house features handcrafted doors that open up to the hallway with wooden ceiling beams and floor tiles. Close to the entrance is a step-down living room with similar ceiling patterns to the hallway and a vintage fireplace. Apart from this, the ground floor also boasts of a dining room and a kitchen.
Equipped with French doors is the dining room that opens up to a covered piazza with plenty of space for a sitting and dining area. Next is the kitchen decorated with stainless steel appliances and olive green counter-tops. It also has an intimate family room connected to the laundry room, which leads to the full bathroom.
A stairway on the ground floor gives way to the four bedrooms on the first floor, including a master suite with a private sitting room, two walk-in closets, and a pale lavender tiled bathroom. Among the other three rooms, two have a full bathroom while one has an en suite bathroom.
The guest house, on the other hand, has three-fourth bathrooms but no bedrooms. It has a spacious living area for placing a bed, making an office, gym, or an art studio. The outdoor area has lush greenery and tall palm trees with a rectangular pool and a stone-covered courtyard.
