In an ultimate “good gesture,” Toyota announced the provision of payment facilities to people who are defaulting on their payments due to natural disasters.

The Japanese company which includes the California wildfires, Midwest derecho, and Hurricane Laura or Isaias. The form of the facilities will be redirecting billing statements, extending or deferring payments, and even online payments.

This is the simplest that can be provided in circumstances like these, as announced by the company. About 200,000 people were affected by the recent California wildfires, and more than a million people now live without electricity due to the other three disasters.
It is noteworthy that this is not the first positive step of its kind by Toyota. The company has already offered several facilities for victims of natural disasters in 2016 and 2018.
