A Grumpy Lifeguard on A Boating Trip
It’s a good thing the companions of this bulldog had it wear a life jacket since bulldogs, with their barrel-shaped bodies and short legs, aren’t very good at swimming. The best that this breed can do is to provide a bit of entertainment and company on board.
Contrastingly, various other breeds are great at swimming and can even serve as lifeguards. While Golden Retrievers and Labradors can swim well, the Newfoundland breeds are expert swimmers. They are as good as any other aquatic animal, with webbed feet and a water-resistant coat. The Newfoundlands also have a protective nature that makes them great lifeguards for boating trips.
