Starting with the deal details

When The Bachelor spinoff, The Bachelorette, first aired on ABC on 8th January 2003, despite it hitting the headlines, fans were reported missing the usual the Mediterranean-style Malibu mansion where handsome men met their lady suitors and welcomed them with beautiful roses.

On digging deeper we found that the whole cast was relocated to La Quinta Resort and Club in California to offer a safer working environment in wake of the COVID-19 infection spread. And with that, the Malibu house became available for temporary dwelling and got listed for rent on Airbnb at $5,828 per night.

Let’s take a tour around the property

Built in the late 1800s, the house is spread over 10,000 square feet with a gorgeous view of the Santa Monica Mountains. The owner of the property is Marshall Harden, president of the Marshall Group.

Marshall stays at the mansion full time along with his family except for the forty-two days when the ABC network uses it for filming show episodes. It wouldn’t be difficult for fans to recognize the mansion when browsing through properties on AirBnB’s website because it’s been featured in more than 90% of the episodes.

In total, the house has seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms and it can easily accommodate almost thirteen people for sleeping. Along with the spacious interiors, here you get several outdoor facilities.

There’s a large swimming pool along with two stunning Jacuzzis and a large pool table. The actual name of the property is Villa De La Vina, but since it’s been a major backdrop during the filming of The Bachelor, it’s come to be recognized as “The Bachelor Mansion.”

ABC News | The property has quite a rustic feel to it and has always been a coveted spot for fans

The pictures of the listing depict a bedroom with attached balconies. There are arched windows and doors with detailing of wrought iron which gives off a rustic and antique look. But the buzz is mainly about the kitchen that’s never been aired in any of the episodes.

Any die-hard fan would love to explore the property, especially those parts that haven’t been seen on the shows.
