Let’s get our hands on the history first
Perry originally bought the Beverly Hills mansion in November 2017, a few months after shelling out $19 million for another house in the same area. She paid $7.5 million for this 1960 property and used it as a guesthouse for days when she had too many family members or friends to stay over.
The American Idol judge held on to the house for more than three years and enjoyed the company of her glitzy neighbors like Jennifer Lawrence, Nicole Kidman, Adele, and many more until 2020, when she gave birth to her daughter.
A quick look at the mansion
The two-storied house, which spreads over 4,410 sq. ft., consists of four bedrooms and five bathrooms. It starts with a huge motor court in the front and leads to the entrance built at the end of the house’s structure.
The ground floor features living areas with hardwood floors, including a formal living room with French doors, an informal dining area attached to the comfortable and modern kitchen, and a spacious family room. It also provides enough space for two en-suite guest bedrooms.
The second floor is dedicated to the master suite, which is no less than a room in a five-star hotel. It has two walk-in closets, a private deck, a sitting area, and a spa-style bathroom with a large tub and steam shower.
The fourth bedroom, which sits on the garage, previously served as Perry’s informal music studio. Still, it’s versatile enough to be converted into anything or used as the third guest bedroom. The informal areas of the estate boast a lagoon-style swimming pool, a grassy lawn, and an outdoor patio.

Other properties owned by Katy Perry
As mentioned earlier, Perry owns another mansion in the Hidden Valley Estates, which she purchased in April 2017. She and Bloom are also proud owners of a $14.2 million Mediterranean-style home in Montecito, California. Before that, she even owned a house in the Hollywood Hills compound, which she sold post her engagement to Bloom in 2019.
